Who is the AFAA?

The Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) is a professional organization that provides nationally and internationally recognized certifications in the field of health and fitness. They offer certifications for personal trainers, group fitness instructors, and other fitness professionals.

Step 1: Eligibility and Application

To be eligible for AFAA certification, you must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. You should also have current Emergency Cardiac Care (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification.
