Who is the ISCD?

The ISCD, or International Society for Clinical Densitometry, is a multidisciplinary, nonprofit organization that provides a central resource for a number of scientific disciplines with an interest in the assessment of skeletal health.

Where do you take their certification exams?

The ISCD certification exams are taken online. The organization has partnered with Pearson VUE, a global leader in computer-based testing, to deliver the certification exams. Detailed information on how to schedule, reschedule or cancel an exam is provided on the ISCD's official website.

Step 1: Eligibility and Application

Before you can schedule your exam, you must first apply to become certified. Visit the ISCD's official website (www.iscd.org) and navigate to the certification section. Here, you can find information on eligibility requirements for the specific certification you're interested in. Once you have confirmed your eligibility, you can submit an application along with the required fees.

On the day of your exam, ensure that you arrive at your chosen testing location early. Bring a valid, government-issued ID with you. Follow all instructions given by the test proctor. Once you have completed the exam, you will receive your results immediately.
