Nine tests are currently offered by CCI. Advanced Cardiac Sonographer, or ACS, is just one. Others include Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT), Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT), Registered Congential Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS), Registered Cardiac Electrophisiology Specialist (RCES), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RPS) and Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS).

These exams feature content specific to the subject area, but all feature 170 questions to be answered within three hours. Regardless of which CCI test you need to pass in order to advance your career, CCI practice exams can help you prepare.

Who should take CCI exams?

Many positions in the healthcare industry require a passing CCI score to work in the field. Employers will typically pass over the applications of those who have not secured CCI certification. CCI exam prep can get you the results you need to achieve your career goals. Anyone hoping to work in the field of echocardiography, cardiac sonography or electrophisiology can benefit from taking CCI exams.

Certain requirements must be met in order to register for a CCI test. Though the requirements vary from test to test, registrants should generally have two years of experience or a degree in the field in which they're hoping to become certified. At the very least, all test takers should have a high school degree or general education diploma.

Each of the CCI exams require different education and experience levels in order to register. Check out CCI's website for an in depth look at what is needed for registration.

What score do I need to pass the CCI test?

All CCI tests require a score of 650 or higher to pass. You'll receive news of your score immediately after you complete the exam. After submitting your test, you'll receive your score, your pass/fail status, as well as a breakdown of the percentage of questions answered correctly. Dedicated CCI test prep can guarantee you get the score you need to pass.

Who is Cardiovascular Credentialing International ?

CCI stands for Cardiovascular Credentialing International, a non-profit organization that provides credentials and certification for cardiovascular professionals. To become certified, interested individuals must follow a few steps:

Step 1: Eligibility and Application

Before applying for a certification exam, you must first ensure that you meet the eligibility requirements. These requirements vary depending on the type of certification you're seeking, but generally, you will need a combination of education and work experience. Once you've confirmed your eligibility, you can complete the online application through the CCI website.

You will need to provide details about your education, work experience, and any relevant certifications. Once your application is complete, you'll need to pay the application fee. After submitting your application, CCI will review it and, if you are eligible, you will receive an authorization to test (ATT) letter.

Step 2: Scheduling the Exam

After receiving your ATT, you can schedule your exam. Exams are administered by Pearson VUE, a leading provider of professional testing services. You can schedule your exam online at the Pearson VUE website or over the phone. It's recommended to schedule your exam as soon as possible after receiving your ATT to ensure availability at your preferred testing center.

Step 3: Taking the Exam

On the day of your exam, arrive at the testing center at least 30 minutes early. You will need to present a valid, government-issued ID. The exam format will depend on the type of certification you're seeking, but most exams are multiple-choice and are administered on a computer.

After the exam, you will receive a preliminary score report. Your official score report will be available on the CCI website within six weeks of your exam date.

Location Information

The exams can be taken at any Pearson VUE testing center. These centers are located in various cities across the United States and around the world. You can find the nearest testing center on the Pearson VUE website.
